The grass sled
Same thrill.
New terrain.
Freeze it. Flip it. Ride it.
No more waiting for the snow.

From freezer to fresh air
A little prep.
A lot of play.
- 01
Fill.
Add water to the tray and place the board with its underside rails in the water.
- 02
Freeze.
Let the water freeze completely around the rails. Remove the tray and flip the sled over.
- 03
Ride.
Find a clear grassy slope, take a seat, and hold the handles. When the ice melts, freeze it again.
A few good questions
The details.
How does the ice stay attached?
The five rails beneath the board sit in the tray while the water freezes. Ice forms around the rails and through their openings, connecting the board to the ice.
Why switch from wood to plastic?
The new direction moves away from wood and its need for protective finishes around water. It also lets us build the Grassy logo directly into a simple plastic seating surface.
How will the new board be made?
We can produce Grassy with 3D printing now. With enough campaign support, we plan to move to injection molding for larger production runs. We’ll share manufacturing decisions and progress on Kickstarter.
Does it use the same tray?
Yes. The plastic board keeps the same reusable freezing-tray setup. Fill it, position the board, and let the ice freeze around the rails.
